Multiple OS in VPS Servers
In case you choose to go for one of our VPS server plans, you will be able to pick one of the three Linux releases that we provide for the OS of the servers - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They're among the most preferred and most dependable server OSs available on the market and we offer them in order to give you a choice for the software environment of your machine if you intend to install some application with specific requirements regarding the packages that have to be present on the server. We also offer three web hosting Control Panels and which one of them you could use will depend on the OS that you've picked. We leave the possibility to replace the server Operating System open, so when you want to use an application that requires an OS different from the one you have, we can always reinstall the VPS. In addition, we can keep the OS up-to-date on a weekly basis by installing any security updates which may be available.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Servers
We offer three Operating Systems with our dedicated server solutions - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They're all different Linux distributions and we offer them not only because they're free so they will not increase the cost of your new web server, but also because they are outstandingly secure and stable. Each one of them is backed up by a large community of web developers, so you'll be able to choose from countless software packages that you may install on your server in case the application that you intend to work with has specific requirements. The Operating System will also determine what internet hosting Control Panel you can use because the Control Panels that we offer are compatible with particular OSs only and because we want to provide you with as much adaptability as possible, we offer multiple OSs and multiple Control Panels. In case you choose a server with a certain OS, we can change it upon request in case it turns out that you will need a different one. We could also keep your OS updated weekly as part of our optional Managed Services upgrade.
