Mailing list members are people that have joined a particular list to get regular email messages, such as weekly newsletters. In case the mailing list management software app that is used to manage the mailing list permits it, you can also approve mailing list members manually, but in this case such messages may be considered as being unsolicited and reported as spam by the recipients. Typically, these mailing list members can unsubscribe from a list by clicking on a link in the messages they get, or you, being the mailing list moderator, can remove them manually if they request this or if you decide that some of the mailing list members should not be part of the list anymore. Each mailing list member will view only their own email address in the "To" section of the messages they receive, but not the email addresses of the other members of the mailing list.

Mailing List Members in Cloud Hosting

The fully featured Majordomo mailing list management software that is included with our cloud plans will grant you total control over the members of any list that you create via the Hepsia Control Panel. You’ll be able to add or remove mailing list members by sending an email message to majordomo@your-domain.com, so you can do this from any place without even needing to sign in to the hosting Control Panel. If you include a member manually, they will receive a confirmation request that they have to accept in order to be added to the mailing list. Once they do this, they will receive an email with the mailing list’s guidelines and features. You’ll also be able to view a thorough list of all your subscribers and to see who is receiving your newsletters or any other kind of periodic e-correspondence.

Mailing List Members in Semi-dedicated Servers

If you get a semi-dedicated server from us and you create Internet mailing lists through the Hepsia Control Panel’s Email Manager section, you’ll be able to manage all your mailing list subscribers without any efforts. We offer one of the most widely used mailing list client programs called Majordomo. It will permit you to view all your mailing list subscribers, to authorize new or to remove existing ones by sending an email message to the mailing list’s admin address, so you can administer everything without even having to sign into your Control Panel. Of course, only you, being the mailing list moderator, will be able to do this. New mailing list subscribers need to verify their membership, so the messages that you send will be legitimate and you will not have to bother about email messages getting reported as spam. We’ve also got a handful of help articles where you can find more info about how to manage the mailing list itself.
